Mr. Parrish is a private investor and advisor to technology companies. Previously, Chuck was a co-founder and executive vice-president of Phone.com, a leader in the delivery of Internet-based services to wireless phones. The company merged with Software.com to form Openwave Systems Inc., the worldwide leader of Internet-based communication infrastructure software and applications. Parrish was a senior vice president and member of Openwave's executive team. Prior to Phone.com, Parrish was vice president of marketing and general manager of Mobile Data for GTE Mobile Communications. He also worked as senior vice president of operations at Contel Cellular, Inc. and was co-founder, president, and CEO of AmeriCom Corporation. Formerly, Parrish served as chief of staff in the Department of Interior under the Carter Administration. |
