As Vice President of Engineering, Chuck Broadus is responsible for development and delivery of hardware reference designs, software platforms and applications.
Broadus joined Digeo soon after its inception and brought to the company more than 30 years of engineering analysis, code development and management experience from a variety of scientific, engineering, economic, and business organizations. During his tenure at Digeo, Broadus has filled several roles, including Director of Research & Development and Senior Director of Applications and Frameworks. He led the development of the initial Moxi Media Center prototype software trialed by Charter and also managed the Moxi Applications and Frameworks and OCAP activities for Digeo.
Prior to Digeo, Broadus worked in several diverse industries ranging from nuclear and alternative energies to medical instrumentation. Immediately before joining, he held engineering and engineering management positions at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory and at the Orbtek Group of Bausch & Lomb.
Broadus is a published author in the topics of BEACON code development and thermal-hydraulic analysis of nuclear reactor containments. He has seven patents and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Weber State University. |
