As vice president of engineering, Mr. Udokwu is responsible for managing Sonus’ industry-leading worldwide engineering team and guiding the company’s technology development. He joins Sonus most recently from Cisco Systems, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the design, development and release of the company’s Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) based software technologies. During his more than 25 years’ experience Mr. Udokwu was Vice President of Engineering at Seranoa Networks, Alcatel’s Optical Networking Division, and Astral Point; Vice President of Customer Engineering and Product Assurance at Lucent; and Senior Vice President of Engineering at MILGO-TIMEPLEX Solutions. He attended the Columbia University School of Engineering where he received a Master of Science degree in Operations Research and a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science. |
