Mr. Tanner provides vision, direction, and leadership for Emdigo. Mr. Tanner is considered one of the world's foremost experts on advanced graphics software architecture. Prior to co-founding Emdigo, Mr. Tanner was the original founder of Intrinsic Graphics - establishing both team and vision. As Intrinsic's Chief Architect, Mr. Tanner was responsible for architecture, technology direction, and evangelism of the highly acclaimed Intrinsic Alchemy(TM) software video game platform. In addition, Mr. Tanner was the original creator of the product vision and patented technology that is now known as Google Earth. Previously, Mr. Tanner spent years at Silicon Graphics where he worked on everything from parallel software architectures to graphics hardware feature design and verification, playing an integral role in establishing the IRIS Performer middleware as a worldwide industry standard. Mr. Tanner graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University with a BSE-CS. He has several patents issued from both Intrinsic Graphics and Silicon Graphics. |
