Christopher Stevenson, an associate with the firm, focuses his practice on all aspects of land use and environmental law.
In the area of land use, Christopher counsels clients in matters involving site evaluation, selection, and acquisition, planning and zoning board approvals, site redevelopment, and eminent domain.
Christopher represents clients in the area of environmental law in connection with permitting, licensing, and enforcement matters before local, state and federal agencies in areas such as land use, (wetland, stream encroachment, coastal programs, tidelands), brownfields redevelopment, site remediation/ cleanup, solid and hazardous waste regulation, air and water pollution control, and water supply.
Christopher’s practice includes regulatory and transactional work as well as litigation.
As a trained mediator, Christopher has substantial experience in negotiating environmental, land use, and commercial matters. With his work experience in both the private and public sectors and his educational background in business, science, policy, and the law, he offers clients a unique perspective on environmental and land use issues that is particularly helpful in dealing with such matters. |
