Mr. Spadea has significant experience in the valuation of intangible and intellectual property assets and the measurement of economic damages in intellectual property and complex commercial disputes. In matters involving litigation, Mr. Spadea has provided expert deposition and trial testimony and assisted counsel in understanding the appropriate economic measure of damages arising out of patent and trademark infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, business valuation, breach of contract, and securities fraud among others. Mr. Spadea’s litigation experience has involved markets such as; alcohol, avionics, computer hardware and software, digital imaging, Internet, medical devices, paper manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, plastic bottles, prepress software, real estate, retail shoes, semiconductors, securities, and telecommunications, among others. |
