Mr. Scordo provides VMD with technical leadership, account management, and operational strategy with a focus on both government and private sector clients. From September 2001 to October 2003, Mr. Scordo served as the Director of Technology for InPhonic, a publicly traded wireless services company. There he played a key role in managing client relationships and coordinating widely dispersed software development teams. Before his tenure with InPhonic, Mr. Scordo had co-founded Skyware Group, a professional services firm located in New York City, which was acquired in 2001. Mr. Scordo also helped found the Mobile Solutions Practice for Etensity, a Mid-Atlantic professional services firm, where he worked as a lead developer and software architect. Mr. Scordo has additionally held diverse consulting and leadership positions focused on software development and technical management. Mr. Scordo holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), and is a member of the Washington, DC chapter of PMI. Additionally, Mr. Scordo holds a Foundation Certificate for IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). |
