Christopher Gordon Ph.D. has served as Orthometrix's Chief Scientist and Applications Manager for the pQCT and Galileo technologies since March 2001. He specialized in osteoporosis research and is considered an expert in the application of peripheral and high resolution computed tomography in the assessment of bone mineral status. Dr. Gordon received his Ph.D. in medical physics from McMaster University for work investigating image-based methods for improving fracture risk determination in subjects with osteoporosis. After graduating Dr. Gordon did his postdoctoral work at the Osteoporosis and Arthritis Research Group University of California San Francisco (UCSF). After completing his postdoctoral work Dr. Gordon joined the faculty of UCSF where he served as an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Radiology. Currently Dr. Gordon maintains an academic appointment at McMaster University and has authored over 75 articles conference abstracts and book chapters. |
