Christopher Etter serves as President and Chief Executive Office at Recordant bringing a strong technology background, an entrepreneurial track-record, and experience in building sales and marketing-focused companies. Etter was previously the CEO and Chairman of IP Merchant Solutions, Inc. a company which he founded in 2002. IP Merchant Solutions, Inc. is an international electronic payments gateway which has a wide service base of customers in all 50 states, Latin America, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. He continues to serve as a board member of this organization. Before founding IP Merchant Solutions, Inc. Etter was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Netifice Communications, a Southern California-based provider of managed network services. Etter was one of the company's initial employees and helped in developing a national sales organization and defining the product and marketing strategies. From 1988 though 1998, Etter acted as Regional President as well as Vice President and General Manager for ITS, a division of GE Capital. His division created in excess of $750 million in annual revenues and had over 600 employees. Etter’s early career consisted of various management positions in accounting and finance with Sunbeam Corporation. Etter graduated from William Peterson College in New Jersey with degrees in Business Administration, Economics, and Accounting. He was also awarded the Wall Street Journal award by the School of Business for his outstanding performance as the highest achiever in the business college. |
