Christopher Coval is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. At Drinker Biddle, Chris's practice involves a wide range of litigation matters, including telecommunications class actions, employment disputes, product liability cases, government investigations, and pro bono matters. As part of his practice, Chris has focused on electronic discovery and litigation preparedness. He regularly counsels pharmaceutical and telecommunications clients regarding their data collection and preservation efforts in litigation as well as their record retention and IT policies. Chris has prepared litigation hold notices, managed electronic document reviews, counseled clients regarding disaster recovery systems, and has provided advice to clients regarding their obligations under e-discovery amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
In General. Prior to joining Drinker Biddle, Christopher was a clerk with the Honorable Joseph L. Tauro in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Chris graduated, summa cum laude, from Boston University School of Law in 2004, where he was an editor on law review and president of the school’s Federalist Society. |
