Christopher Drury primarily represents clients in adversary proceedings. He practices in the area of civil and business litigation, including commercial, intellectual property, and trade secret litigation, and disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, noncompetition agreements, and the Uniform Commercial Code. His intellectual property litigation experience includes cases involving trademark, copyright, and patent infringement, unfair competition claims, and disputes over proprietary information and theft of trade secrets. For example, Chris has represented companies in prosecuting and defending trademark infringement actions and has defended clients against patent infringement claims. Chris is also a member of the firm's utility law practice group, which addresses the needs of clients in energy, telecommunications, and water. He has assisted clients with identifying and securing grant funding and creative financing for energy projects.

Before joining Shipman & Goodwin in 2005, Chris was an associate of Pierce Atwood LLP in Portland, Maine. His litigation practice there involved representation of corporate clients in insurance coverage actions, intellectual property litigation, and general commercial litigation.
