Chris Haakon was named to RadiantBlue’s Advisory Board in 2006. He has over 40 years experience in the industry focusing on profit center management and top-level corporate responsibility. Since his retirement from General Dynamics in 2003, Mr. Haakon has applied his significant expertise as a consultant, serving on the Board of Advisors to four fast growing companies. From 1963 to 2002, Mr. Haakon worked for Autometric Inc., a provider of leading-edge services and applications to federal and commercial clients. Autometric specialized in data visualization and animation, modeling and simulation systems, image processing and analysis, geospatial data management products, systems engineering and integration. Mr. Haakon began his long career at Autometric as an image analyst and worked his way to CEO in 1997. After the Boeing Company acquired Autometric in 2000 Mr. Haakon served as General Manager of the new Boeing-Autometric organization for two years. Mr. Haakon is a retired Navy Reserve Captain and held four command tours. Mr. Haakon is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Joint Military Intelligence College Foundation, Chairman of the AFCEA Intelligence Committee, a member of the National Correlation Working Group Board of Directors, and past Advisor to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Transformation Advisory Group. Mr. Haakon received a BA from Columbia University, New York City. |
