Chris Sobba represents general contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, suppliers, architects, engineers and owners in a wide variety of construction litigation matters. Mr. Sobba has experience handling claims regarding breach of contract, prompt payment statutes, extra work, delay, acceleration, inefficiency, impact, bid disputes, design errors and omissions, construction defects, mold, mechanic's liens, payment and performance bond claims, personal injury, insurance claims, debt collections, fraud, and many other claims asserted in the construction industry.
Mr. Sobba has represented clients in state court, federal court, arbitration and mediation, and has been directly involved with multiparty construction litigation where total claims exceeded $200 million. He has trial experience in both Kansas and Missouri, and has successfully argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals.
Mr. Sobba has experience handling claims relating to a wide variety of construction projects across the country including power plants, aircraft production facilities, steel manufacturing facilities, cement manufacturing facilities, LNG receiving facilities, commercial offices, churches, schools, museums, arenas, performing arts centers, highways, bridges, retaining walls for light rail transit, hotels, high and mid-rise condominiums, apartment complexes and single family homes.
