Mr. Fama manages separate accounts in the Southeast and co-manages the national portfolio. He also sits on the Nuveen Asset Management Investment Committee. He joined Nuveen in 1992 as a general obligation research analyst. He was subsequently promoted to senior analyst and sector manager before moving to portfolio management. Before joining Nuveen, Mr. Fama was a senior analyst at the Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP). While with CRSP, he developed a historical database of OTC market trade and volume data as a companion to existing AMEX and NYSE databases. Mr. Fama earned his bachelors degree in economics at the University of Illinois and received his M.B.A. in finance and statistics from the University of Chicago. |
