Co-founder and Vice President of Global Engineering Christopher Straut oversees all product development for the company's software and hardware solutions. Straut manages as well as participates in the design and architecture of Recordant's core application suite of Moment of Truth Intelligence Solutions. Straut also configures, purchases and manages all of the corporate IT and production data center systems. Straut ensures that all aspects of the engineering organization continue to deliver market-leading software and hardware for customers' interaction needs. With more than 23 years in the software industry, Straut's experience encompasses engineering management, software development, systems architecture, database systems and networking solutions. Before forming Recordant, he was vice president of global engineering at Witness Systems, a leading provider of call center recording solutions. Prior to his tenure at Witness Systems, Straut served as director of architecture for SideTalk, Inc. He was also the lead developer for all customer care solutions for BellSouth.net. Straut's architecture and development career includes permanent and consulting positions with Equifax, BellSouth, The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, IBM and Cingular Wireless. At Georgia State University, Straut majored in mathematics with a minor in information systems. He has taught Java Certification courses for corporate development teams. |
