Christopher M. Young founded ProObject in 1995 as a software engineering firm focused on the use of object-oriented tools and techniques. As president, Chris embraces a passion for the company that has guided ProObject through its steady growth to becoming a leader in providing object technologies to the Intelligence Community. He directs the firm's long term strategy which focuses on empowering ProObject's staff, establishing valuable partnerships and ensuring an impressive record of results for our clients. Chris Young has more than 20 years of technical and management consulting experience in both the government and commercial sectors. He is an expert in the application of object-oriented tools and techniques to solve the complex problems unique to the Intelligence Community. Chris has applied these skills to help numerous projects transition from the traditional, procedural approach to software engineering to a new, more effective object-oriented approach. Mr. Young works with project planners and end users in the development of object-oriented enterprise frameworks. Chris attended Maryland’s public schools and strives to give back to the community that afforded him an education. He is an active supporter of Roosevelt High School’s participation in the U.S. First, an annual competition whose mission is to generate an interest in science and engineering among today's youth. Christopher Young received a B.S. from Towson State University and his M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, both in Baltimore, MD. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). |
