Chris Sanders is a partner with Ellison, Schneider & Harris. Chris joined the firm after working for more than ten years as an environmental engineer with the State of California, Environmental Protection Agency (Regional Water Quality Control Board and Department of Toxic Substances Control). His focus includes environmental, water quality, and water rights law, including the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Endangered Species Act, and the Clean Water Act, with a specific emphasis in preserving, defending and acquiring water rights. Chris has significant experience developing strategies and counseling public and private sector clients, primarily before administrative agencies such as the State Water Resources Control Board, Regional Water Quality Control Boards, Department of Fish and Game, and National Marine Fisheries Service. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Colorado - Boulder and his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (with honors). Chris is a member of the State Bar of California and is licensed by the State of California as a registered civil engineer. |
