Mr.Henson was named as BB&T's chief financial officer effective July 1 2005. He began his banking career in 1985 when he entered BB&T’s Management Development program. He has served as city executive in Wilson and Greensboro N.C. president of BB&T’s Hampton Roads Region and president of BB&T’s Atlanta Region as well as Georgia State President.
