Chris Janssen is a Managing Director in the Chicago office of Duff & Phelps. He joined the firm in 1994 and has been involved in numerous corporate transactions and financial advisory engagements for both publicly held and private companies in a wide range of industries. Mr. Janssen specializes in fairness and solvency opinions and business valuations, and has executed sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions for his clients. Mr. Janssen has substantial experience advising information technology services firms, and has spoken on the topics of stock option valuation and employee ownership at various industry conferences. He has also been a guest lecturer on business valuations at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Janssen was formerly a commercial lender with The Northern Trust Company in Chicago. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with highest distinction from Northwestern University with a B.A. in economics. Mr. Janssen also earned an M.B.A. in finance and marketing at Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the Business Valuation Association of Chicago and the Association for Corporate Growth. |
