Christopher L. Bennett is executive vice president and general counsel for Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Inc. He joined the company and has led the legal department of Interstate and its predecessors since 1998. He also oversees the company’s human resources department. Bennett concurrently served as senior vice president and general counsel of MeriStar Hospitality Corporation and oversaw its legal department from 1998 until January 2003. Prior to 1998 he was an associate at the New York City-based Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine and Thacher Proffitt & Wood.
Bennett earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and received his undergraduate degrees in accounting and finance at Virginia Tech. Bennett is also a Certified Public Accountant. |
