Mr. Miller grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, and earned his degrees at the University of Iowa College of Business Administration (with Distinction) and University of Iowa College of Law (with High Distinction). Before joining Kennedy Childs & Fogg, P.C., in 1995, Mr. Miller practiced civil litigation defense for three years at Shull Cosgrove Hellige & Lundberg in Sioux City, Iowa. Mr. Miller is licensed to practice law in state and federal courts in Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa. Since joining Kennedy Childs & Fogg, P.C., he has focused his practice on the defense of professional liability, employment, and personal injury claims. Mr. Miller represents professionals and professional institutions in malpractice claims, as well as licensing and credentialing matters. Mr. Miller represents employers in all types of employment disputes before the EEOC, CCRD and state and federal courts; and advises employers on employee management and compliance issues. Mr. Miller's other areas of practice include bad faith, defamation and premises liability. |
