Chris Rockers is the Chair of the Business Transactions Practice Group in the Kansas City, Missouri office of Husch & Eppenberger, LLC. Chris' practice includes extensive involvement in all facets of commercial transactions, including acquisition and roll-up financings, cash flow and asset based lending, equipment financing, sophisticated workout and restructuring transactions. Financing experience includes representation of national lenders on a local, regional and national basis.
Commercial Finance. Chris handles the financing of leveraged buy-outs of industrial and manufacturing businesses, asset based lending, cash flow financing, capital restructure, mezzanine financing, construction financing and permanent loans. Other financing experience includes all facets of secured lending in connection with commercial transactions, the acquisition and sale of real property, workouts and liquidation of various types of commercial and real estate based loans. He also practices in the area of construction law and the negotiation of construction contracts for contractors and owners.
Real Estate Law. Chris works on acquisition, development and financing for clients including commercial and condominium property developers, investors, and lending institutions.
Consumer Credit Programs. Chris represents national companies, lenders, banks and finance companies with a national scope, who are providers of all types of financing programs, by establishing operations locally and monitoring compliance with local, state and federal consumer lending requirements.
Chris is listed in the 2006 edition of Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Financial Institutions Law and in the 2007 edition in the area of Banking Law.
