Christopher J. McCabe is an associate of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the area of Insurance Defense, General Civil Litigation, Transportation Litigation, and Construction Litigation, with a particular emphasis in Transportation Law. Mr. McCabe is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Allegheny County, Philadelphia County, and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McCabe clerked while in law school for the Honorable Russell J. Nigro of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Honorable James R. Cavanaugh of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Mr. McCabe then worked for a large regional firm in Philadelphia and defended cases involving wrongful death, personal injury, property damage, and subrogation and has also represented various insurers and re-insurers in disputes over policy coverage and interpretation. He also has experience defending architects and engineers in all aspects of design and construction litigation, including both economic and personal injury claims. Mr. McCabe graduated from Dickinson College in 1999 with a B.A. in History and American Studies. He received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2002. |
