Mr. Welch is responsible for the oversight of all corporate finance, tax, budgeting, insurance/risk management, and accounting functions for Tiedemann Trust Company, including its proprietary Fund of Funds and private equity investment vehicles.

Before joining Tiedemann Investment Group in 1999, Chris was the Assistant Controller of Pomona Capital, a global private equity firm with $2.4 billion in managed assets, and was responsible for the corporate accounting, audit, tax, and fund administration functions. Prior to Pomona Capital, Chris was a Senior Associate with Coopers & Lybrand, LLP in their audit practice with a focus in the manufacturing, consumer products, and financial services industries. Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from Bryant College and holds a Certified Public Accountant license from the State of New York.
