Chris Supple is a shareholder in the Firm’s Litigation and Government Relations Groups. He focuses his practice in the areas of government relations, civil and criminal litigation, government investigation/enforcement, and real estate/land-use/environmental permitting. These areas of practice also involve government contracts, government ethics/conflicts of interest, white-collar defense, public records/freedom of information and open meeting laws, campaign and political finance, administrative law, professional licensure and discipline, and corporate compliance. His clients include businesses, non-profits, individuals, and government agencies. Chris' government and litigation experience is extensive, including twenty years as a prosecutor and as a government policy maker and regulator/permitter/enforcer in the federal government, in Massachusetts state government, and in Boston city government. He has built his practice around this government experience and expertise, leveraging two decades of public and private sector experience with administrative, regulatory, legislative and judicial issues of law and policy in all three branches (executive, legislative and judicial) and at all three levels (city, state and federal) of government. A former federal prosecutor and federal law clerk, Chris has tried dozens of cases to juries and to judges and has settled hundreds of cases by negotiated agreement.
