Mr. Pappas has 30 years of operational management experience in the restaurant industry. Pappas Restaurants, Inc. is a privately owned company with 70 restaurants in six states. Mr. Pappas also serves as president and CEO of Luby's, Inc., a publicly traded cafeteria chain with more than 130 locations throughout Texas and other states. Mr. Pappas is a director of the Greater Houston Partnership and of the National Restaurant Association. He serves on the Dean's advisory board at the University of Houston's Conrad Hilton School of Hotel & Restaurant Management. He is a director of the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Pappas received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas. |
