Chris Neil is the Division Vice President of the Conversion, Computing, and Secure Products Division. Mr. Neil holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he joined Maxim in 1990. He served as an applications engineer and advanced through various roles in business development. A specialist in power management, Mr. Neil was Managing Director for power-management products for portable equipment, handheld products, and cell phones. Mr. Neil became a Vice President in April 2006. In his current role, he is responsible for the definition, design, development, manufacturing, and marketing of products across five of the Company’s business units. His specific product-line responsibilities include power management for notebook computers, battery packs, and displays; data converters and power-line communication products; embedded microcontrollers, secure coprocessors and encryption products; storage and expander products; and data logging and secure identification devices using both 1-Wire® and RF interfaces. |
