Mr. Gondeck currently is President of EBF & Associates, a securities and investment brokerage firm. Previously Mr. Gondeck served as Chief Financial Officer for Sage HMS and was President of Growth Financial Services, LLC, a financial services company offering part-time CFO services. From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Gondeck served as Chief Financial Officer of Video Update, Inc., a publicly traded video retail chain. While at Video Update, Mr. Gondeck directed corporate finance during a period of rapid growth; growing from $7 M to over $140 M in annual sales. During this time, Video Update acquired over 20 companies, raised over $60 million in three public offerings, and secured a $60 million bank line of credit with a group of major U.S. and Canadian banks. During 1994, Mr. Gondeck was a financial consultant to Corning-Donahue, Inc. and Fire Brick Supply, a privately held brick and tile business. From 1992 through March, 1994, Mr. Gondeck served as Senior Vice President and CFO for Premier Salons International, Inc. ("Premier"), a privately held company based in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to December 1993, Premier was known as MEI Salon Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of MEI Diversified, Inc., which operated over 1,000 hair care salon locations throughout the United States and Canada. From 1981 to 1992, Mr. Gondeck served in various financial and management capacities for MEI Diversified. Prior to MEI Diversified, Mr. Gondeck served as a staff accountant with Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Gondeck is a certified public accountant, receiving a BS in Accounting from St. Cloud State University. |
