Chris Ford was a stand-out basketball player at Holy Spirit High School in Absecon, New Jersey from 1964 through 1968. After high school, he continued his basketball career at Villanova University where he helped Villanova advance to the 1971 NCAA championship game against UCLA. He graduated from Villanova in 1972 with a degree in business and was later named to the schools' Wildcats Hall of Fame. Mr. Ford has over 28-years experience in the NBA - 10 years as a player, nine years as a head coach and eight as an assistant coach. During his NBA career, Ford has earned three NBA Championship rings - one as a player (Boston, 1981) and two as an assistant coach, (Boston, 1984 and 1986). Chris Ford is a resident of Margate, New Jersey. He and his wife, Kathy, have four children. |
