Chris joined the company in 2004 to create the new Crime & Financial Institutions profit center. Chris has been an underwriter for twenty-eight years, primarily in Crime, Fidelity, Financial Institutions and related lines. From 1976 to 1980 he was an Underwriter (in New York), Regional Manager (in Southern California) and Senior Underwriting Officer (in the Home Office) with the Crime Insurance Department at Chubb & Son. In 1980, he founded and managed a new division at AIG, the AIG Crime & Sensitive Risk Division, as a Vice President of both National Union and AIU. In 1984, Chris set out on his own, spending the next twenty years working with (and in) the London market. He acted as a reinsurance intermediary, wholesale broker and MGA. He had a proprietary $10,000,000 line slip (with binding authority). He was a frequent underwriting consultant to Lloyd’s Underwriters. He graduated from Columbia University with a BA. |
