Christopher I. Stone joined Midwest Airlines as senior vice president of human resources in November 2000. He is responsible for all aspects of the department’s management including compensation and benefits, talent acquisition and development, and employee relations.
Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Stone was a senior consultant with Hewitt Associates LLC, a human resources management consultancy based in Lincolnshire, Illinois. At Hewitt, he worked extensively with client companies, devising new approaches to managing their people assets and human resource operations. He also served as vice president of human resources for Deluxe Data Systems (now eFunds) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and held various human resources management positions at General Electric, both at GE-Aerospace and GE-Medical Systems. A former faculty member of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Mr. Stone taught and published in career development and counseling psychology.
A native Pennsylvanian, Mr. Stone has a bachelor’s of science degree in industrial psychology, and a master’s and doctorate in counseling and educational psychology, all from Penn State University.
Mr. Stone and his wife live in the Milwaukee area. The couple has two grown children. |
