Christopher (Toby) Smith is the Chief Executive Officer, as well as a member of the Board of Directors, of Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. and Atkins Nutritionals Holdings, Inc. (ANI), in January 2007. Mr. Smith has served as Chairman of the Board of London Fog Industries, Inc., President and Chief Executive Officer of the Wildlife Conservation Society, Chief Executive Officer of Escada AG and Chief Executive Officer of Puma USA, Inc. Mr. Smith's expertise is wide ranging, covering all aspects of financial management in addition to marketing, sales and supply chain issues. In addition to consumer products expertise, Mr. Smith has extensive experience in metal working, food service, electo optics and the automotive sectors. Mr. Smith recently served as Chairman of the Board of Oneida, Ltd. where he oversaw a dramatic improvement in operational and financial performance at this leading U.S. tabletop supplier, including a $130 million improvement in operating income. He currently serves as director of MCA Logistics, and Chairman of Franchise Associates, Inc., and has served as managing principal in the merchant banking firm of Alexander, Smith & Co., providing investment, financial and operating counsel to a variety of clients.Mr Smith also has a substantial background as a lawyer, working with leading international firms for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Williams College and Yale Law School. |
