Christopher H. Mitchell specializes in civil litigation, with emphasis on medical, automobile, and premises liability claims. He has handled cases in the federal and state courts throughout metropolitan Washington, DC and in other jurisdictions.
Before joining Stein, Mitchell & Muse in 1992, he served as law clerk to Judge John Bayly of the District of Columbia Superior Court, and was a litigation associate at Collier, Shannon, Rill & Scott in Washington, DC. In addition, he spent two years as Executive Director of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra in Johnstown, PA.
Mr. Mitchell is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. He is member of the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC.
Mr. Mitchell was born in Washington, DC in 1962. He received his B.A. from Harvard University in 1984 and his J.D. from Georgetown University in 1987. |
