Christopher G. Hume, III has dedicated his practice to the defense of civil litigation, including insurance, personal and industrial injury, products liability, construction defect, trucking and workers compensation defense. He was born in Mobile, Alabama, and earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University in 1970. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1973. He served as a law clerk for the Hon. Daniel H. Thomas on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Tort and Insurance Practice Section), and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association where he served on the Board of Directors from 1993 to 1996.
