Christopher E. Kubasik is Executive Vice President of the Lockheed Martin Electronic Systems Business Area. Mr. Kubasik was appointed to his current position on September 1, 2007. Prior to assuming that post, Mr. Kubasik served, since February 2001, as the Corporation’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In that capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of the corporation’s financial strategies, processes and operations.
Mr. Kubasik previously served as Lockheed Martin’s Vice President and Controller, a position he had held since November 1999 when he joined the Corporation. He previously was the vice chairman of the Lockheed Martin Diversity Council, chairman of the Ethics and Business Conduct Steering Committee, and chairman of the Lockheed Martin Investment Management Company (LMIMCo).
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Mr. Kubasik was with Ernst & Young, LLP, in a variety of increasingly responsible positions. He was named Partner in 1996. Mr. Kubasik gained extensive experience serving a broad spectrum of government contracting and high technology companies.
Mr. Kubasik was born in Cheverly, Maryland, March 26, 1961. He earned his bachelor’s degree (Magna Cum Laude) in accounting from the University of Maryland’s School of Business in 1983. In 1997, he attended the Executive Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business. In 2004, he completed the Systems Acquisition Management Course for Flag Officers at the Defense Acquisition University, Fort Belvoir. Mr. Kubasik serves on the Board of Trustees of The Marsico Investment Fund. |
