Chris Sales is chairperson of the BECU Board of Directors and treasurer of the Boeing Management Association. He has been a BECU volunteer since 1991. Chris joined The Boeing Company in 1981 as a system engineer on Boeing Marine Systems hydrofoil programs. He has managed several military activities at Boeing including the E-6 strategic communication aircraft, C-40 military transport aircraft, B-2 bomber, and air-launched cruise missile programs He is currently the director of export compliance for Boeing Commercial Airplanes' 787 program. Chris also served seven years as an officer in the US Navy's nuclear submarine program. In 1997, he retired from the Naval Reserve with the rank of commander. He previously served as a national director of the Navy League of the United States. |
