Relative to the intellectual property practice, he specializes in advising companies as to the valuation, commercialization, licensing, and management of intellectual assets. His experience in industry as a licensing executive, having served as Executive Director of SBC Knowledge Ventures, provides added insight into IP licensing mechanics, and serves to enhance his expertise in IP valuation and damage quantification. Additionally, he has designed, implemented and executed royalty inspection programs on behalf of clients to facilitate the capture of maximum return on licensed intellectual assets. He possesses a specific understanding of accounting and financial valuation issues that impact intellectual assets, as well as an understanding of the economic principles which are related to business transactions in general, and IP/technology transfer transactions in particular. Related to the complex litigation practice, Christopher has extensive experience quantifying economic damages in the context of breach of contract, business interruption, change of scope, and delay & disruption allegations. He has conducted contract compliance evaluations and other fact finding investigations and has served as an expert in many disputes. |
