Born Visalia, California, August 1, 1960. Admitted to Bar 1989, California and U.S. District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts of California. Education: Occidental College (B.S., 1979); University of Santa Clara Law School (J.D., 1989); Recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Criminal Law. Member: Fresno County Bar Association (member of the Steering Committee of the Real Property and Business Round Tables); State Bar of California (Real Property and Environmental Law Sections). Community Service: Pro Bono General Counsel to the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust, 1991 to present; East Fresno Rotary; Legal Advisor to Junior League of Fresno; Director of the Central Valley Funeral Directors Association; and lecturer at California State University, Fresno regarding business law.
