Christophe Girardier started his career by working for Atlas International, a medical imagery company. He then worked for ADDE from 1989 to 1994 as marketing and sales director focusing on public and private key accounts where he developed the sales of GIS based solutions. In 1994, he joined Alsoft SA, a French GIS company, as VP sales & marketing in charge of international strategy, in particular in Europe and Japan.In March 1999, he created and led ASTEROP, a new player in Business Intelligence solutions dedicated to sales network optimization. When founding ASTEROP, Christophe created a new BI concept called Business GeoIntelligence© a powerful and innovative concept mixing high level statistical analysis with advanced spatial analysis, being helped by French ANVAR and INRIA, a subsidiary of French national statistical Institute CNRS.From the creation of ASTEROP on, Christophe has counted among his clients many of the european’s and world's leading retail, FMCG, automotive and bank companies, helping them to optimize their business and development strategy, especially for their retail network optimization or merchandising strategy.He is the author and co-author of numerous studies or books, in particular the Etat de l’Opinion published by TNS Sofres, and is a frequent speaker in the business press and at management forums in France and Europe. As CEO and Chairman of ASTEROP Corp and CEO of ASTEROP Inc., Christophe is based in both Paris and San Francisco and travels extensively to visit ASTEROP global clients and partners. |
