Chris is based in BBK's Frankfurt, Germany office. Fluent in English and German, his financial engagements span an international client base from a variety of industries. He actively authors on subjects related to cross-border transactions and is frequently invited to lecture on a topics related to mergers, acquisitions and company valuations. This BBK Managing Director takes a broad approach to corporate finance engagements, from initial acquisition/divestment strategy to negotiation support and post-implementation services. Known for his ability to build confidence and trust, he has led trade buy-and sell-sides, restructurings, IPOs, privatizations, recapitalizations, license auctions, structured finance, MBOs, LBOs and take-privates. He is an expert in strategic planning, market analysis, corporate governance, company valuation, employee development, due diligence and financial controlling. Professional Experience Chris has 18 years of experience establishing and managing multimillion-dollar corporate financial advisory businesses. His track record includes three business startups in Germany. In 2000 Chris co-established Peters Associates AG in Frankfurt. As Managing Director/Deputy CEO he advised German corporations, private equity and financial institutions in M&A, corporate strategy, valuations, financial engineering and transaction support. Chris grew Peters Associates AG to multimillion-dollar fee income, making it one of the leading independent corporate finance boutiques in Germany. Prior to Peters, Chris was Managing Director, CEO and Founder of SBS Corporate Finance in Germany. He grew the firm as an independent corporate finance boutique that served as corporate finance advisory to large German corporations, private equity and financial institutions. As Partner with KPMG Deutsche Treuhand AG in Frankfurt, Chris offered a global client base corporate financial services, especially in regard to takeovers, mergers, valuations, privatizations, market studies and strategic analysis. In the late 80s early 90s Chris served as Senior Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick in Frankfurt. He co-founded KPMGs M&A practice group in Germany, specializing in takeovers, mergers, valuations, privatizations, market studies and strategic analysis. After six years he became one of the youngest partners in the history of that organization.
