Description of Practice:
Christine Kormanik is senior counsel in the Orange County office where she concentrates her practice on business and tax planning. Ms. Kormanik has been involved in various matters relating to partnerships and limited liability companies, including drafting and reviewing partnership and limited liability company agreements, amendments and dissolution documentation. In addition, Ms Kormanik has participated in Section 1031 exchanges involving the exchange of real properties on a tax-deferred basis. She expects to continue to expand her experience in these areas.
Ms. Kormanik is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California and the Orange County Bar Association.
Educational History:
Ms. Kormanik received her B.A. in communications, magna cum laude, in 1992 from Rutgers College, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, in 1997 from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was a published member of the Law Review. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Ms. Kormanik served as a law clerk to Judge Thomas I. McKnew, Jr. of the Los Angeles Superior Court. |
