Christine Greybe joined DHR International in September 2004 as the Managing Director of Asia-Pacific. Since then, Ms. Greybe has been instrumental in establishing the DHR brand throughout the region, working with some of the world’s leading companies to identify and place their most senior executives at both a global and regional level. From an initial base at the company’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Ms. Greybe has led the expansion of DHR’s offices to Japan and China, with ongoing plans to continue to expand across the region. Her achievements in building the region’s business saw Ms. Greybe recognized at the firm’s annual conference in 2005 as, not only one of its leading consultants, but also directing the Asian operations to be the fastest growing and best performing new office for the firm. In further recognition of her achievements as a search professional and astute business executive, Ms. Greybe was appointed to the DHR Board of Directors in March 2006. Ms. Greybe was previously with Executive Access Limited, part of the Access Asia Group, a regional Hong Kong based executive search firm focusing on the placement of key executives across Asia. During her four years with the company, she built the Telecommunications, Technology and Manufacturing Practices throughout the region. During this period, she spent two years based in Tokyo where she continues to leverage her success in this market for a number of clients. Prior to this, Ms. Greybe created, led and managed Job Access Limited, a joint venture with the Access Asia Group, from 1994 to 1999, establishing the business as one of the region’s leading search and selection companies. She commenced her career in recruitment in 1990 with Drake International as a Personnel Consultant based in South Africa moving to Asia to head the Singapore and Hong Kong offices for this company in 1992. Ms. Greybe’s experience in search covers all levels of management with particular emphasis on C-level searches, Heads of Business and operational leaders as well as all functional areas reporting to these roles. Her industry experience has covered a wide variety of sectors, more recently focusing on telecommunications, technology, retail, consumer, entertainment, media and publishing. She covers the Asia-Pacific region and has experience in Greater China, Japan, Southeast Asia and India. Ms. Greybe champions our Diversity Practice in Asia-Pacific. This has led to the placement of female talent in key leadership roles, particularly in Japan. Ms. Greybe was born in South Africa and has a Diploma of Higher Education from Rhodes University. She began her teaching career in Bophutatswana as an English teacher and sports coach. She is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
