Christine Thompson Briede, CFSP is a native of Virginia & was raised in Massachusetts. She is married with two daughters. She currently serves as President of Loubat Equipment and has been a co-owner since 1994. Christine is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a double major in Broadcast Journalism & English. She is the President-Elect of the N.O. Chapter of the American Marketing Association, a member of the Women's Professional Council, National Association of Female Executives, and she Co-Chaired the Young Executive Committee for the Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association (FEDA). Christine holds the distinction of Level I Certified Food Service Professional (CFSP). Ms. Briede is a sustainer in the Junior League of New Orleans, Vice President for Friends of CASA Jefferson, and serves as the Alumnae District President for Kappa Alpha Theta for Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Other community committees: Rock the CASA, Each One Save One, PRC's Holiday Home Tour, and City Park's Lark in the Park. She is also a member of the Alabama Alumni Association and P.E.O. service organization. In 1998, she was honored as one of Gambit Weekly's "40 Under 40". In January 2000 & 2009, she was named "Theta of the Year" as New Orleans' outstanding volunteer. In November 2002 & 2008, Ms. Briede was honored as one of forty "Women of the Year" by CityBusiness magazine. In December 2002, Magic 101.9 lauded her as a "Leading Woman in Business". She is a graduate of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) class of 2004. |
