Christine Baron is president of the Philadelphia Tri-State Region for Verizon Wireless, a position she has held since 2002. In this role, she oversees a $1.7-billion-a-year operation and more than 2,000 employees for the nation’s largest wireless company. She is responsible for business sales (corporate/government accounts), consumer sales, customer service, 115 company-owned retail stores and kiosks, and indirect and national retail distribution in the region. She also oversees the continuous expansion of the company’s wireless communications network throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey. Under her leadership, more than $800 million has been invested in the company’s Philadelphia Tri-State Region network since 2001. |
