Christine Chris Reilly is President of CIT Small
Business Lending Corporation (SBL) a unit of CIT
Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) a leading global commercial
and consumer finance company.
Reilly is responsible for overseeing an organization
that completes more than $1 billion in annual
originations and is recognized as the nation’s leading
Small Business Association (SBA) lender as well as
the top lender to women and minority small
businesses.
With more than 25 years of broad business experience
in various financial and operational roles she began
her career at Arthur Andersen LLP. Since joining CIT
in 1994 Reilly has held several key senior management
positions including Executive Vice President of
Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Chief Audit
Executive and Vice President of CIT’s Inventory
Financing Operation and Chief Financial Officer of CIT
Consumer Finance among others.
She is a member of the National Association of
Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) and the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as
well as several other professional organizations. In
addition Reilly serves as Co-Chair of CIT’s Women’s
Leadership Council and is Vice Chairman of the Board
of Directors of the NJ Metropolitan Chapter of the
American Red Cross.
She is a Certified Public Accountant and received her
MBA from New York University’s Stern School of
