Dr. Christina Lopano is a scientist for the X-ray services group at RJLG's headquarters facility. She has more than five years of experience with powder X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, electron probe microanalysis and scanning electron microscopy. Dr. Lopano recently received her doctorate from The Pennsylvania State University, where her research involved time-resolved structural analysis of cation exchange reactions with synthetic birnessite using synchrotron X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. She is a member of the Mineralogical Society of America, American Geophysical Union and Phi Beta Kappa Society. In addition, she has published in peer-reviewed literature. |
