Christina Boulougouris, an associate with the firm, practices in the firm’s Real Estate Group. Christina represents cooperative housing corporations and condominium associations as general counsel. She negotiates and facilitates refinances and commercial leases and is knowledgeable in all facets of commercial litigation, corporate governance and landlord-tenant disputes.
Christina is the co-author of a successful Appellant brief in the landmark New York State Court of Appeals decision, Kralik v. 239 East 79th Street Owners Corp., 5 N.Y.3d 54, 832 N.E.2d 707 (2005). The decision clarified the rights of holders of unsold shares in cooperative housing corporations. Prior to working with Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, Christina was a senior associate at a New York City firm where she served as General Counsel for cooperative housing corporations and condominium associations throughout New York City. She also served as Senior Account Executive for LexisNexis and was a professor of Legal Research and Writing for Hofstra University. Christina works out of the firm’s New York City office. |
