Chrissie A. Powers is a senior manager at Rea & Associates, Inc. Formerly, she spent four years as a shareholder of Ickert & Company, LLC. Her area of specialization includes litigation support such as fraud examination and investigation, forensic accounting and record reconstruction, damage and claims analysis and documentation and marital dissolution matters. She has more than eight years experience in public accounting. Ms. Powers holds a Bachelor of Science from Urbana University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. While there, she was a member of the varsity volleyball team, Alpha Chi and Sigma Beta Delta. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts, the High Tech Crime Consortium, Law Enforcement Analysts, Ohio Women’s Bar Association, Business Valuation and Forensic and Litigation Services Section of the AICPA, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysis, Ohio Investigators Associate, and International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. In addition, she is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and acts as president for its Central Ohio Chapter. Ms. Powers volunteers for the Companion Animal Connection, Emerging Trends in Fraud Prevention planning committee and Accounting for Kids Day. She also serves as a mentor and a member of the Urbana Career Ally Network at Urbana University. Originally from Columbiana, Ohio, she and her husband Roger now reside in Grove City, Ohio, with their son Landon. She enjoys going to the beach and vacationing in the North Carolina’s Outer Banks, jet-skiing, sailing, snorkeling and playing volleyball. |
