A recognized leader in the media and marketing research industry, Chris Wilson joined Simmons Market Research Bureau in September 2000 as President and Chief Operating Officer after more than a dozen years of experience in media research, sales and client services.
Prior to Chris' appointment as President as Experian's Research Services Division in February 2007, Chris' responsibilities at Simmons included the daily operation and strategic direction of the company, with an eye toward expanding Simmons' presence into new markets such as online media, Hispanic consumer surveys, integrated marketing solutions and innovative segmentation systems based on word-of-mouth advertising and the body mass index of customers. Under Chris' leadership, Simmons' grown ranked in the top tier of all marketing research companies, according to the Honemichael report.
Before leading Simmons, Chris spent 12 years at Scarborough Research where his last role was to serve as Senior Vice President of Sales. There he also developed unique and effective data applications and training programs designed to maximize the value of marketing information for clients. |
