Mr. van der Harst has over 20 years experience in setting up, turning around and running European and international operations for companies in the fields of high tech, software and logistics. Before joining ServiceBench, Mr. van der Harst was Vice President of Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions EMEA at Oracle Corporation, following the acquisition of Global Logistics Technologies, Inc. (G-Log) by Oracle. At G-Log, Mr. van der Harst was the Managing Director of International Operations where he was responsible for all of G-Log' operations in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific regions. Under Mr. van der Harst's leadership, G-Log successfully introduced its solutions in the Asia Pacific region, and grew its overall international operations by more than 30% each year. Prior to G-Log, Mr. van der Harst held various executive management positions with companies such as Descartes Systems Group and webMethods Inc., where he started and grew activities in Europe as the company's first European employee. Mr. van der Harst began his career at Philips Electronics where he held various positions in the logistics area. |
